He challenged himself to build affordable bicycles with custom sizes using the absolute highest-grade aluminium tubing at proces competitive to standardized bikes being sold to top-level atheletes in both the pro and amateur ranks.

Thousands of miles ridden on ill-fitting bikes with substandard frame materials led him to realize exactly what design and materials worked best, both for comfort and performance. Elite was formed to take advantage of the industry-wide technology boom that allowed smaller builders to compete with larger companies without being at a technology disadvantage. As a result, Elite now buys the highest-quality tubing, uses the top welders and paint houses in the industry, and employs the absolute best design characteristics while offering customized tubing options and paint finishes at prices competitive with larger bike manufacturers.

Crafted in the USA from American-made parts, Elite's parts use Easton Ultra-Light and Easton Scandium tubing – the highest-rated lightweight aluminium in the world. Each frame's airfoil design is also wind-tunnel tested to enture optimal performance.
