Located at Duxton Hill in the heart of Singapore’s bustling Central Business District, Elite Bicycles Asia offers top quality bicycles that are cut to measure and tailor-made for the individual, ensuring optimal handling, safety, and performance. Every Elite bicycle is completely handmade in the United States from fabrication to finish and each frame is specifically built to fit the rider.

The following is the full text which I used as my guideline to speak on the topic given to me by  Jordan D. Metzl, MD, the handsome  NYC orthopedist and all around great guy who facilitated the event.  We will be adding the full presentation and information to our upcoming Fit Tech page in the Fit section of our web site,  http://www.elitebicycles.com/tech_fit.php along with a plethora of other information that I believe will be educational and useful to  fitters and athletes alike.  The following, even though there is some crossover, is not part of my series of articles both written and to be written about “Perfect Fit”, (which I do intend to continue once I find some extra time). If you are eagerly awaiting  part 5 (I heard you Noah), I apologize for the delay, and assure you it will be soon written. As with everything I write, please feel free to comment and/or ask any questions you may have on this topic.

A Very Sad Loss…

We at Elite Bicycles wish to send our condolences to the family and friends of Matt McCulley, an Elite family member who has recently passed. Matt was an outstanding and generous person. As founder and race director of the Sea Isle City, N.J., “Tri for Our Veterans,” he put together a race to benefit the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund and VFW Post 1963 in Sea Isle City. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those close to him.

The day-to-day life and activities of the athlete are very important to the overall understanding of the athlete’s potential abilities, limitations, and personal ambitions. Some of these questions are covered it the Introduction form that we (Elite Bicycles) ask the athlete to fill out before the fit appointment begins. Perfect fit – Part 3

Perfect Fit – Part 3 Interview, Goals – Physically & Competitively

When we talk about an athlete’s goals through the interview process, we consider both the physical and competitive desires of the individual. Sometimes these two aspirations are contradictory, and sometimes they already work in concert with one another. Regardless, the best approach is to get a handle on the overall feelings of the athlete and assess the newly learned information as thoroughly as possible.
