When man invented the bicycle he reached the peak of his attainments. Here was a machine of precision and balance for the convenience of man. And (unlike subsequent inventions for man's convenience) the more he used it, the fitter his body became. Here, for once, was a product of man's brain that was entirely beneficial to those who used it, and of no harm or irritation to others. Progress should have stopped when man invented the bicycle.

Zipp Vuka Aerobar

Zipp Vuka Aerobar

From an engineering standpoint, the VukaAero is cutting edge all the way. The base bar section can be rotated +/- 2.5 degrees with almost no change to the already minimal frontal area. To get rid of drag-inducing fasteners and clamps, we created a patent pending compression sleeve system that secures the extensions with just two hidden bolts. Don't worry about strength and durability, as the VukaAero is the only integrated aerobar to pass EFBe's fatigue testing for high performance racing equipment. Integrated all-carbon brake levers will help you set up for that tricky final turn. And, at 860g (42cm o-o), weight is not an issue.

Amazingly, the VukaAero achieves its near-perfect aerodynamics without sacrificing any adjustability or ergonomics. For instance, you'll most notice the VukaAero's strength when you're wrenching on hand grips that perfectly mimic the position, shape, and texture of standard brake hoods. The carbon fiber armrests have 3 width options and EVA foam pads covered with anti-bacterial Lycra make for superior comfort and high durability. Finally, that innovative aero compression sleeve design allows 4 axes of adjustment to the extensions.
Zipp VumaChrono Crankset

Zipp VumaChrono Crankset

It took years to develop the VumaChrono and by the time we were done, even our engineers were stunned by the results: 9 seconds faster over 40km compared to the next fastest TT crankset. That's about the same as taking 12 spokes out of your front wheel (which we do not recommend). But VumaChrono breaks new ground with more than its radical shape.

It has a unique, spider-less design and an outer chainring that's only a few millimeters taller than the teeth themselves and is held in place by 9 screws around the perimeter of the carbon face. Meanwhile, the inner chainring sits flush against the interior face of the carbon, all the way to the bottom bracket cups. It has its own set of bolts, making the VumaChrono the first crank designed to accommodate both single and double chainring setups. At just 860g, it also happens to be the stiffest crankset we've ever tested for chainring deflection - by a factor of 10.
Zipp VumaQuad Crankset

Zipp VumaQuad Crankset

The VumaChrono crankset is a breakthrough in terms of aerodynamics but it wouldn't have been possible without all the advances of the VumaQuad, the world's lightest crankset at 580 grams. That feathery figure includes crankarms, 50/34 chainrings, bottom bracket, and all the bolts and hardware, yet the VumaQuad cruised through CEN's rigorous testing and is 33% stiffer than the next-lightest crankset on the market.

To achieve this, we started with a 110mm, four-arm bolt pattern with the fourth bolt built into the crankarm. The NoNuts system uses larger diameter bolts that thread directly into the small chainring, increasing thread engagement and strengthening the crankarm-chainring interface. As an added bonus, the VumaQuad allows you to switch between Zipp's compact 50/34 and standard 53/39 chainring setups, both of which have been specially designed for use with the VumaQuad.
Rotor Ceramic Self Aligning Bottom Bracket

Rotor Ceramic Self Aligning Bottom Bracket

The SABB uses external bearings, but contains a fundamental difference to every other outboard bearing bottom bracket system: the bearings are held within ball-in-socket housings, allowing them to swivel into absolutely parallel alignment with each other, irrespective of any outside influences. This automatic self-alignment of the bearing races occurs independent of any possible frame imperfections or stresses: unparallel faces, non perfect concentricity of the threading in both sides, deformation due to excessive load, etc.

Additionally, due to its user friendliness and simplicity, the consumer can change their bearings without the need of any special tool. Anybody who is tired of replacing their standard BB cups from other brands can easily retrofit the Rotor SABB system to their bike, guaranteeing thousands of kilometres of carefree cycling. Install it and forget it.
Valdora Aerobar

Valdora Aerobar

Features include: 12K carbon construction, an ergonomic gripping area on the extensions to relieve forearm and hand strain, ergonomic oversized arm rests for added long distance comfort, internal cable routing, telescoping aero extensions, will accept most / all non Valdora 22.2 mm aero extensions
FSA Neo Pro Crankset

FSA Neo Pro Crankset

Adding to it's two World Championships, under the command of Fabian Cancellara, the Neo Pro secured an Olympic gold medal in Beijing 2008. CSC's Gustav Erik Larsson scored silver also riding Neo Pro to add to Team CSC's dominance of the 2008 cycling season which included a Carlos Sastre victory at this years Tour de France.

With truly nothing inside, Neo Pro is a showcase for the amazing potential of composite materials. Hollow Carbon delivers the lightest, stiffest, smoothest and strongest components possible.

The cross section of the the arm is wing-shaped, and the back of each arm is partially recessed to cover the Ceramic Bearing BB cup. This design will become the new standard for those who demand the fastest crankset available.

3T Ventus Aerobar

3T Ventus Aerobar

VENTUS is the TT bar of champions like Fabian Cancellara and Carlos Sastre. The carbon-fiber basebar, tiny brake levers and integrated stem make it the world's fastest and most aerodynamic bar. The basebar is a thin, broad aerofoil set at the optimum angle of incidence to present the least drag to the airflow. A full range of adjustment optimizes rider position. The extension bars adjust front-rear for reach, and vertically for height. Elbow pads move with the extensions, preserving a constant relationship between hands and elbows. Champion athletes with physiques as different as Sastre and Cancellara fit VENTUS perfectly. The standard S‑bend extensions, in Al 7005 T6 for TEAM Edition, can be swapped out for straight or ski-bend extensions, available as 3T Accessories. VENTUS is the foremost expression of Ultimate Performance by 3T and dominated major races against the clock in 2008.
