All Elite Bicycles are sold with the option to have your new speed machine custom painted to match the personality and aesthetic desires of each individual rider. Custom paint is offered on all of the varieties of bicycles we create. We have painted many different shades of almost every color imaginable throughout the history of Elite Bicycles and many many combination’s of colors. Graphics, logo’s, signatures and themes have also been common place for us as well.
Over the years we have painted many shades of sold purple frames, purple faded with other colors or masked off with with a clean line to another colors.  Purple bicycle frames with graphics such as flowers, flames, and or insignias have also been done several times over, however they all differ with their own personal flare. The following are several examples of purple painted frames that I thought I would like to share. These photos and the bikes in them have never been posted anywhere before, hope you enjoy what you see….

Elite Sponsored Athlete Lynley Alison Wins IM CDA
âThe Perfect Fit begins with an understanding of the athleteâs ambitions and abilities in order to educate them on achieving their goals and ultimately building a position that maximizes power, comfort, and handling without losing the bikeâs ability to evolve with the rider.â
All fittings begin with the Pre-Fit interview, which is designed to gain a full understanding of the clientâs athletic, physical, and medical history, this will provide a good head start in the determination of any physiological challenges, physical limitations, or neurological muscular patterns that may need to be addressed during exertion and pre-exhaustion. Physical and competitive goals, body image, lifestyle habits and personal anatomy also play a VERY important role to discern the appropriate starting point in an evolving biomechanically friendly position for each individual rider. Everyone is a âsnowflakeâ.
The interview is followed by a full justification of our philosophy and protocol. We have proudly named our proprietary procedure âBiomechanical Bicycle Positioningâ (BBP). We continue the conversation with a digestible explanation of pertinent information; including but not limited to several interactive demonstrations of muscular recruitment patterns, proprioception, true core and the effects of the twists within bones.

The Elite Bicycles relationship with Greg Sullivan goes back many years. In fact, it actually precedes the fabrication of the first Elite frameset all those moons ago.

Question:
Hi David
I run and cycle; having been doing so for years….more of a recreational person…aims to complete not compete…
in the last Standard Charter marathon…i had extreme pain on the outer part of my leg. And it would go away when i walked and then when i jogged it would come back after about 100 meters and i did that for the last 10km of the marathon…pain came at about 26km
I did a run a few days later…because i felt fine…..was fine for first few km and then pain came back after about 3km…
so i thought i would ride…did a round island on Sunday, great pain but only at the 110km mark…both knees this time, same place …outer medial part of knee…i could not even pedal…i have been riding for years, mtb and road never ever experienced this…
had no problems whilst riding until last Sunday…prior to that i did a Tour de Bintan (1st day / stage 150km, next day / 2nd stage 73 km and afternoon 3rd stage 38km…Never did such a grueling ride…had no pain during or after the event.
all said i am wondering whether you know what it could be, based on info provided…..oh yah…during the ride i had great pain only at my lower back or upper part of my butt….thought it could be my riding style because the tour de Bintan was damn hilly, nothing but up and down the whole course….and during my ride last Sunday…no hills, hardly, but still that butt / lower back pain…
Please advise thanks
Clinton

Elite Bicycles athlete Arland Macasieb posted the fastest bike and run times of the day on his way to a first place finish at the Timex 226 Iron Distance triathlon in Bohol, Philippines. Finishing in a time of 10:18:57, Arland crossed the line nearly ten minutes ahead of his nearest competitor. This is Arland’s first victory at the Iron distance, all the more impressive due to the fact that Arland set a new Philippine IM distance record in Arizona just two weeks ago.

Workout Winner: I’ve finished three Ironman triathlons
This is a wonderful interview with Elite Bicycles athlete Mary Latza brought to us by:
The Lehigh Valleys leading news paper THE MORNING CALL.
I give all Photo and content credit to this fine paper.
â¢Name: Mary Latza
â¢Age: 33
â¢Hometown: Center Valley
â¢Favorite exercise routine: Triathlons, but admit that playing on my work softball team is REALLY fun! I also really like the P90X workouts when I’m not training for a race â they are really challenging!
â¢Major exercise accomplishment: I’ve finished three Ironman triathlons and also have qualified for the Boston Marathon
(but haven’t raced it yet.)
â¢Proudest exercise moment: My first Ironman finish, followed by my second one, mainly because the 2nd Ironman was on a day where it poured rain the entire day!
