Welcome once again to another edition of Elite Bicycles Bike of the Week. This week’s speed machine belongs to none other than Jordan Metzl, M.D.. Jordan’s ride is our Elite Bicycles Joule Pro Carbon. His bike is a little different than most in that we actually sent it out to our good friends at Edge Composites in Utah for use in their specialty booth at Interbike 2008. Here it is in all its Edge Composites regalia:

Its been too long…

Hi, I am a slacker! Since it has been too long since I’ve updated, I will be doing either a long blog today, or splitting it up a bit. I have decided to make my choice as I go along with this. We will see how it goes!

Get Well Soon!

Packing up and heading up to Lake Placid this afternoon. Not too bad of a drive, but will hopefully be up in time to get a good nights sleep in before the work starts tomorrow. We will be set up starting around 11am at Eye Peek Optical at 2237 Saranac Ave, across the street from where we are usually set up at Placid Planet. Keith and I will be staying back this year so we can get some work done here at the shop. If anybody now competing needs any tune ups or work done over the next few days feel free to give us a call and set something up.

Only two days left until we leave for Ironman Lake Placid! We had Mark Levy in earlier today for a little fit check and tune up – its been awhile since we’ve seen Mark, so its nice to have him back in. Amy O’Neill was also by with her purple T-Class for a little cleat adjustment and check up. Amy is developing a lot as a cyclist, and its about time for her to get a little more aggressive. Big ups to Amy!

Semi lazy day here at Elite Bicycles, we got Reena calmed down and ready to race Lake Placid Ironman along with long-time Elite Bicycle friend and team rider Jenny “Mini” Cooper. It was a big day for “Mini” in that she is now confident and well versed in the art of changing a tubular tire. A few other tune ups for those excited racers going to Placid and a good day to organize the shop.
Our sympathies to George Hincapie who should be in yellow right now, but due to the lack of consideration by his so called long time friend and ex-teammate Lance Armstrong who brought Astana to the front of the pelaton pulling Hincapie out of yellow.
